Our first INDIRE conference is facing COVID challenges just like all other conferences.

First INDIRE Annual Conference will be held in last week of July 2022.

We do not want to make our conferences virtual since our programming includes many activities that require physical presence. Although we are a fully digital organization, we aim to innovate in that respect. Such innovation include videotaping of presentations and accepted journal articles, virtual research collaboration, research aggregation and consolidation, online academy, matching journal articles to conferences and vice versa, and other digital innovations.

To that effect, considering the evolution of the COVID situation and expected vaccinations, we will hold our first conference in 2022.

At this time of the year, Greece will be at the peak of its season and just before the Greece vacation season. All participants will be able to come to the conference and then stay in Greece during the best and busiest time of the year - The ambiance would be perfect.

We will continue to monitor changes with the COVID vaccination and new cases situation, and should conditions improve then we might try a small conference during the fall 2021.

The INDIRE team
