Teacher competency model and its application based on teacher and student behavior observation under the thought of engineering education

Based on the concept of "student-centered" and "output-oriented" in engineering education, the correlation factor between teachers' classroom teaching and students' ability cultivation, namely thinking ability is studied. And a teacher's classroom competency evaluation model with "indicators of students' ability behavior" as the core statistical index is put forward. Taking civil aviation transportation major as an example, the form of teacher competency evaluation scale is constructed. Based on this model, a com-prehensive evaluation system of teachers' basic competence and post competence can be constructed.
